Earn & Learn
The Smith’s “Earn & Learn” program is a terrific way to generate additional dollars for Project Read simply by using your Fresh Values card every time you shop at Smith’s! It’s easy! Simply enroll in the Smith’s “Earn & Learn” program at your neighborhood store and designate Project Read. Once enrolled, every time you use your Fresh Values card, Smith’s will donate up to 5% of your purchase to Project Read.
Project Read receives annual statements detailing its supporters’ donations to their account and receives issue contributions quarterly. It’s never been easier to support Project Read!
Here is how it works:
1. Enroll using one of these methods:
- Contact Project Read and ask them to enroll your Fresh Values Card
- Call 1-800-764-8897 (You will receive a confirmation of enrollment through the mail.)
- E-Mail your Fresh Values card number and name of school (Project Read) to earnnlearn@sfdc.com.
- Enroll online by visiting the Earn and Learn enrollment site.
- If you are already enrolled, please renew your enrollment by printing this renewal barcode and taking it to any Smith’s with your Fresh Values Card. They will scan it at the register and you will be enrolled to support Project Read effortlessly for another year! Please do it before September 30th.
2. Shop at any Smith’s Store in Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah & Wyoming and Smith’s will automatically donate up to 5% of your purchase to Project Read. Once your enrollment application is processed, you can begin to earn money for Project Read based on your total purchases. Keeping track of your Earn & Learn contributions is easy! Just look at the bottom of your receipt for your total accumulated points. Your shopping dollars are converted to points (1 point = one dollar). Every Wednesday, your points will be updated with your most recent purchases and totals.
3. Earn and Learn contributions will be issued quarterly to the schools and organizations in the program.
